What is ExtraLucca?

Maestrod’olio returns to Lucca with a new, even more exciting event: the ExtraLucca Summer Edition, held under the historic Loggiato of Palazzo Pretorio in Piazza San Michele, on June 20 and July 31, 2025, with continuous hours from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The Accademia Maestrod’olio will be on hand to introduce, promote, and sell extra virgin olive oils and related products, with the help of our expert sommeliers. Every day, they will guide visitors from all over Europe and the world in discovering the unique qualities of Italy’s finest oils.

A true open-air lounge in the heart of the city, where you can taste the very best of Italian excellence.

In addition to olive oils, visitors will also have the chance to sample some of the finest wines from Tuscany and across Italy. You can even enjoy a refined aperitivo while taking in the artistic and architectural beauty of the Church of San Michele.

Products made from extra virgin olive oil will range from spreadable creams and vegetables in oil to cosmetic products.

Admission is free throughout the entire event.
